Changing The Face Of Home Care & Financial Independence: Kedrin Johnson Bio

Business, Real Estate, and Financial Literacy Consultant, Mrs. Kedrin Johnson is the Founder and CEO of WAYS Home Care & Health Agency, LLC (WAYS) in the growing economic city of Inglewood, California that started in July 2016. Though Kedrin, or Mrs. Johnson has a gift for helping people, she will tell you that the home care industry wasn’t her first choice to start a business venture, but with the inspiration of her husband, Mrs. Johnson fell in love with the business, her staff, and clients.

Before the success of WAYS, Mrs. Johnson received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Cal State Long Beach and was a Deputy Probation Officer in Los Angeles for 15 years. Mrs. Johnson’s passion to improve the lives of young adults in the criminal justice system was a great stepping stone for the next chapter in her life.

Within only three (3) years of launching WAYS, Mrs. Johnson’s company became a million-dollar establishment due to her savvy business strategies to create jobs and build multiple partnerships with many corporate and nonprofit companies such as South Bay WorkSource Investment Board (SBWIB), City of Carson, Transitional Subsidized Employment Program (TSE), and other CalWORKS programs. Mrs. Johnson has also successfully created other employment opportunities for staff members with over 20 regional centers throughout Southern California servicing care for Developmental Disability children and adult clients. Mrs. Johnson is not only a business mover and a shaker in the community, but an inspiration to many.

In late 2018, Mrs. Johnson bought a 2-story building located in Inglewood as the corporate office for WAYS.

In coming months of 2021, Mrs. Johnson will announce the official plans to launch WAYS, Inc.: Financial Literacy and Housing Program for Women, and WAYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) School.
