Finding a trail that had yet to have been blazed, Kedrin Johnson, found herselfengaged in developing her own Home Care and Health Agency in Inglewood, California. Seeing an opportunity to assist her community and family, she took it upon herself to educate and master Home Care services offering a new and intimate service for those in need, a trustworthy and reliable career for her employees, and a successful and giving business for her economy.
While the Home Care industry has its origins dating back to 1909, the industry has never seen anything that can compare to the likeness of WAYS Home Care and Health Agency. By way of her savvy business strategies and previous entrepreneurial skills, Kedrin Johnson has been able to create jobs and build multiple partnerships with many corporate and nonprofit companies such as South Bay WorkSource Investment Board (SBWIB) , City of Carson, Transitional Subsidized Employment Program (TSE) , and other CalWORKS programs. With over 20 regional centers throughout Southern California which are providing care for developmentally disabled children and adult clients, Mrs. Johnson has continued to prove that she is not only a pivotal business owner but also a prominent resource in the community, and an overall inspiration to all.
My father in-law was diagnosed with degenerative scoliosis, and was unable to walk due to the pain. On top of that he had prostate problems. My husband and I didn't know how to or what to do to make him feel comfortable. Mrs. Johnson, the founder, picked up the phone late in the evening one night when I called and answered every question I had and was able to send a nurse less than 24 hours later. Staci came in and made my father in-law feel at ease and taken care of, she was truly a Godsend. She even taught us how to take care of him; what to do, how to lift him, roll him over, etc. She was so patient with him and with me when I asked so many questions. It's so hard when you have a family member who needs care, and everyone at WAYS made our lives so much better.

It's been two weeks since I had major surgery and I am happy healing, and grateful that for my first four days at home, WAYS Home Care & Health Agency was there for me. My Certified Nursing Assistant pampered me, she made sure I ate warm meals, and most importantly that I took my drugs on time. Initially, I was reluctant about having a stranger take care of me but the care providers were professional, friendly, compassionate and they made sure that I was comfortable. I pray that I never have to go through another operation or health challenge again, but if I did, Ways Home Care & Health Agency will be the health service I would employ.
